Exodus Housing as established partnerships with numerous public agencies and private organizations in order to accomplish our mission. These collaborative partnerships are expressed in our five separate programs. Our Board of Directors established our goal to have new families served through our transitional housing programs, be 100% survivors of domestic violence.
Safe Choices (SHP): 10 units of transitional housing and supportive services for families with minor children, who are both homeless and survivors of domestic violence. In partnership with Pierce County Department of Community Services.
Family Permanency Project (FPP): 15 units of project-based Section 8 housing units with supportive services for homeless families with minor children, impacted by domestic violence. In partnership with Pierce County Housing Authority.
KC THOR: Transitional Housing, Operating and Rent Assistance – 5 units that provide funds for transitional housing and supportive services to working homeless families with minor children, impacted by domestic violence, in Southeast King County. In partnership with King County Department of Community Services.
PC THOR: Transitional Housing, Operating and Rent Assistance – 6 units that provide funds for transitional housing and supportive services to working homeless families with minor children, impacted by domestic violence, in Pierce County. In partnership with Pierce County Department of Community Connections.
LIHI: Low Income Housing Institute – 6 units of transitional housing and supportive services for Pierce County homeless families with minor children impacted by domestic violence. In partnership with Low Income Housing Institute of King County.
Next Chapter: Our Family Renewal and Empowerment program, Next Chapter, is a fun, interactive, educational program for family recovery services impacted by abuse. For six sessions, families are provided with a meal and attend healing and skill-building classes focusing on rebuilding the family, guided by qualified trainers. Classes are divided by age so that learning can be developmentally appropriate. We help families discover fun and we help build long lasting family relationships, free of abuse.
